Sycamore Dental ("we", "us") operates this website. This page explains what we collect, why, and what your rights are. It is written in plain English on purpose.
What we collect
- What you give us. Name, email, phone, and message contents when you use the contact form. Insurance details if you provide them to confirm coverage.
- What your browser sends. Standard server logs — IP address, browser type, the page you visited. We keep these for 30 days, then they are deleted.
- What you can opt out of. This site does not run third-party advertising trackers. We do not use marketing pixels.
Why we collect it
To respond to inquiries, schedule visits, and verify insurance. Nothing else.
Who sees it
Our front-desk team and the dentist treating you. Insurance claim data goes to your insurer, on your behalf. We do not sell or share data with third parties for marketing.
How long we keep it
Treatment records are kept for the period required by New York State law (currently six years from the last visit; ten years from the last visit for minors after they reach age 18, whichever is later). Website inquiry data is deleted within 90 days unless you become a patient.
Your rights
You may request a copy of your records, request a correction, or request deletion subject to applicable retention laws. Email hello@sycamoredentalnyack.example and we will respond within 30 days.
